I am so lucky to have found Rabbi Barry. We hired him about a year before the wedding, and he checked in often to see how we were doing throughout the planning process. I only met him in person one time before the wedding but through all the emailing, I felt like I knew him really well. He is also the type of person that after just meeting him, you feel like you’ve known him your whole life. He shakes hands on the first meeting, after that it’s all hugging! Hey. I just wanted to drop by to say thank you and leave a quick review. My wife (Katie) and I got married on 10/24/2014. We first heard about Rabbi Barry through the recommendation of our wedding planner. After narrowing down our search to 2-3 officiants, we set up a meeting with Rabbi Barry. We could tell right away that he was the one we wanted. He was down to earth, funny, relaxed, and he knows how to work a crowd. At the same time, he’s adamant about marriage being a sacred covenant and he takes it very seriously, which is something we appreciate. He came prepared with several examples, passages, etc. and worked with us every step of the way. It was easy to see that he genuinely enjoys what he does. Planning a wedding can be quite stressful, so it definitely helps to have people that are reliable and trustworthy at your disposal.
